How do I lodge claims for passengers injured in an accident?

- The cover is provided for in case you are legally liable for the injuries suffered by the passengers following an accident with your insured vehicle.
- The passengers injured because of the accident with your insured vehicle, must first approach the Road Accident Fund and submit a claim against the Fund (RAF).
- This cover will assist you, in case after a claim was submitted against the Fund (RAF), passengers still believe you are legally liable for their injuries. Once the passengers lodge the claim, same will be dealt with on your behalf.
Can I claim directly against the policy for passengers injured because of the accident with the insured vehicle?

Will the policy pay for my loss of income if my vehicle has been involved in an accident and is booked-in with the panel beaters to repair the damages?

- No, only if the insured vehicle involved in an accident has been declared uneconomical to repair (Write-off). If the vehicle is repairable, you cannot claim for loss of income.
- The amount payable for loss of income should your vehicle be declared uneconomical to repair following an accident is R5 000.
